READER'S GUIDE
This site is best viewed with Netscape Navigator 3.0 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher.
In order to take full advantage of the interactive features of this journal it is important that your browser is configured properly and you have the necessary "helper applications". Several links for free internet access to these programs are provided below. In particular, you will need a sound file player (like WHAM), movie players for Quicktime, AVI and MPEG formats, and interactive molecule viewers (try Rasmol and MAGE for PCs and MACs). Online help in using and configuring Netscape is also available at the following links:
You can also find information on specific applications by using the WWW search tools at the end of this document. We also suggest that you set your proportional font to "Times New Roman" at 10 point and your fixed font to "Courier" at 8 point.
